The new album Trip sa Field will NOT be available on streaming platforms. I made this decision because, I wanted to make this all-Tagalog album a bit more special, so the only way to listen to the songs would be to support the limited vinyl edition with the CD and the music videos.
Today, the first music video for the song “Wasak” is live.
This video was brilliantly filmed and directed by Sheryl Reyes and shot in various Asian locations: Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, and Manila. I love how she channeled the classic Asian films in this video, which gives everything a melancholic and mysterious vibe.
“Joys and sorrows glow in Asia like its famous neon signs.”
The song “Wasak” is a breakup song. “Wasak” is a Tagalog word that means “Destroyed,” referring to the destructive force of love gone wrong or a relationship that met its end.
You can watch the music video below.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
