So what’s next after Trip sa Field?
That’s a good question but recently, I have been toying with the idea of writing and producing an album for Defmod Network, the electronic music outfit I founded with Gatchie Ignacio and Ronnie Lao back in New Jersey during the pandemic. We released a bunch of singles and even played a few gigs, but after that, and before Sheryl and I went nomad, we decided to split.
During our nomad years, however, I continued producing music, but mainly for Defmod Network’s YOUTUBE Channel, which surprisingly now has over 500 subscribers. Crazy, right? I know it’s not huge, but getting to 100 is super hard enough, so 500 is five times harder.
I love producing electronic music. I have two electronic ambient albums out on streaming: Music for Endings, which I made during the pandemic, and Wander Awake, which I produced during our nomadic years in Europe.

So yes, it’s getting cold even here in LA, and that means more time in the studio to work on a Defmod Network album. Stay tuned.
